# Getting Started

> "I have completed the [player tutorial](https://narutoadventures.gitbook.io/wiki/basics/getting-started/the-player-tutorial) and chose a [clan](https://narutoadventures.gitbook.io/wiki/clans), what do I do now?"\
> "I haven't played in a while, how do I get back into the server?"

**Getting into, or back into the server can be difficult, which is why this wiki was created.**\
**By reading through these wiki articles we hope you can gain a better understanding of how the server works and enjoy your time playing on the server with no frustration.**

Both new and returning players should **first complete** [**the player tutorial**](https://narutoadventures.gitbook.io/wiki/basics/getting-started/the-player-tutorial), which explains all of the basic concepts and gameplay aspects of the server. \
At the end of the tutorial, players are given 300 XP and 1000 [ryo](https://narutoadventures.gitbook.io/wiki/basics/ryo) which is enough to [level up](https://narutoadventures.gitbook.io/wiki/basics/leveling) and unlock an [elemental jutsu](https://narutoadventures.gitbook.io/wiki/jutsus/elemental-jutsus).

### 📋What do I do after completing the tutorial?

After completing the player tutorial, new players should choose their [clan](https://narutoadventures.gitbook.io/wiki/clans) before starting their adventures on the server. Clans can be reset at any time, so feel free to try all of them to find your favourite!

After choosing a clan and specification[^1], players spawn at their home villages and are allowed to roam the world of Shinobi.

The next step for ambitious shinobi is to increase your [player level](https://narutoadventures.gitbook.io/wiki/basics/leveling) and [rank up](https://narutoadventures.gitbook.io/wiki/player-ranks).

By leveling and ranking up players gradually unlock more [jutsus](https://narutoadventures.gitbook.io/wiki/basics/jutsu) and get stronger.\
Progressing in level / rank also lets players pursue [Characters](https://narutoadventures.gitbook.io/wiki/characters) - granting a considerable power up, and let players play as characters from the show, gaining exclusive jutsus such as the Kirin or the Mangekyo Sharingan depending on the character!!\
Alternatively, you can also choose to become an [OC](https://narutoadventures.gitbook.io/wiki/characters) and pave your own path on the server.

### 🌍 Exploration

**With over 33** [**fast travel**](https://narutoadventures.gitbook.io/wiki/useful-commands) **points to unlock, there are many sights to see on NA!**

From iconic builds from the show such as the Final Valley where Madara and Hashirama fought their toughest battle, to custom villages exclusive to our server such as the Cherry Blossom village of Kamigakure, unlocking all of the FT points is a completionist's dream come true!

Using the [online map](https://map.narutoadventures.com/) makes server exploration even more enjoyable!!

### 🫂Events

**During busy hours on the server, events may be hosted by player staff.**\
These events vary between PVP events such as [<mark style="color:blue;">**Team Captain**</mark>](#user-content-fn-2)[^2] (TC) events or [<mark style="color:blue;">**Wars**</mark>](#user-content-fn-3)[^3]<mark style="color:blue;">**,**</mark> to other events such as parkour events of boat racing.

These events give winning teams / players nice rewards, so keep your eyes out and stay up to date when Events are due to be hosted on our [server discord!](https://discord.gg/naruto-adventures-387520105430384651)

Additionally, summer and winter games are often hosted in summer and winter seasons respectively, which consist of many other fun games with even more exclusive rewards to be earned!!

[^1]: The specification system is currently being revamped, choosing a specification at this stage may be removed at a later time.

[^2]: Team Captain events are the most type of event hosted on the server.

    Two team captains are chosen by the hosting staff member. Those players then take turns in picking players for their team.

    The two teams then go head to head in a large arena until one of the teams is wiped out.

[^3]: Wars are events where Allied and Rogue forces go head to head in a large arena.

    Each team needs to wipe out the enemy team to win.
