Player Ranks
📜 Not to be confused with Donator Ranks, player ranks are one of the tools that show a player's account progression through the server and come with a variety of perks.
Ranking up your player rank may be a requirement to obtaining higher ranks, or getting your desired character.

🚨 QP rankup
Separate to the exams mentioned below, players can rank up from Genin to Chuunin to Jounin using QP.
QP is gained by doing quests on the server. When a player gets enough QP they may speak to the "Rank Up" NPC in any Kage's office.

After speaking with the NPC, players will be teleported into the rankup room, after reading the rules to ranking up, players may speak to the Gatemen NPCs to rank up to either Chuunin or Jounin.
After using these NPCs with the correct amount of quest points, players must wait for a Mod+ to give them the permissions for their new rank.
🚨 How Do I rank up to Chuunin (Chuunin Exams)?
All players start off as Genin rank, and all players return to Genins after resetting. Genin players are characterised by their low chakra reserves, slow passive chakra regeneration and basic clan jutsus.
Gradually ranking up from Genin to Jounin can be done in one of 2 ways: passing exams or via QP rankup.
Exams are live events hosted by the NA staff team. They are split into Chuunin and Jounin exams. See the exam timetable on our website to see when exams are scheduled to be hosted.
Chuunin exams are formatted as PVP bracket tournaments. A minimum of 4 Genin and 1 host are required for one to be hosted. Players battle it out between themselves in randomly selected battles until one player remains. The last player standing gets promoted to Chuunin.
In case of a surplus of players and staff initiative, 2v2 Chuunin exams may be hosted (this often requires 16 players).
Ranking up to Chuunin increases a player's Chakra from 200 to 300.
🚨 How do I rank up to Jounin (Jounin Exams)?
Jounin exams work a little differently to Chuunin Exams. They are split into two portions, an exam section and a combat section.
A minimum of 3 Chuunin and 1 host are required for an exam to take place.
The exam portion of a Jounin exams consists of a written exam with 10 questions on a topic chosen by the exam's host.
Questions are asked by the host in a broadcast, and answered by examinees in provided books&quills. At the end of the exam, books must be signed and dropped into hoppers for grading. 6/10 correct answers are required to pass the written portion of the exam.
❗If only 1 player passes the written portion of the Jounin exam, they get promoted to Jounin by default.
If multiple people pass however, the exam proceeds to the combat portion where the candidates fight each other in a bracket tournament format until the last player standing is declared Jounin.
