The Player Tutorial
An introduction to basic server mechanics
Upon spawning in as a new player you will be placed in the tutorial.
The server tutorial will guide you through the most important of server mechanics by using NPCs. In the first two stages of the tutorial, the player learns how to interact with NPCs on the server.
By right clicking an NPC, the player starts a conversation. The player can then scroll through different chat options by using the movement keys W and S to scroll up and down respectively, and press the Space bar to proceed with the highlighted chat option. Pressing shift at any time during an NPC conversation will allow the player to exit the conversation.
Double Jump - Tutorial
The 3rd stage of the tutorial teaches players how to double jump. By pressing the jump key (space bar by default) two times in rapid succession, the player performs an extended jump helpful for crossing long areas. The player must use a double jump to cross the broken bridge and speak with Sasuke.
Hand Signs & Jutsu Usage
After speaking with Sasuke in stage 3, players are taught how to use the main combat tool on NA - jutsus.
Players are given a "Tutorial Scroll" and are temporarily taught the Fireball jutsu to test out their abilities.
By following the instructions given by the Sasuke NPC; doing /c bind while holding the tutorial scroll will allow the player to bind their jutsus to that item.
After binding the Fireball jutsu, players are told to use it to kill the Rogue Ninja NPC 3 times. Using jutsus requires Chakra and correctly performed hand signs.
Following the jutsu tutorial comes the stage covering weapons and tools.
Players are given kunai and shuriken to defeat 3 Rogue Ninjas with.
The final stage of the player tutorial gives players an overview of the leveling system on our server, and are given 250 XP and the chance to unlock their first elemental jutsu as a reward for completing the tutorial before being redirected to the clan selection area.
